Pat Tabram appeared at the hearing in Newcastle County Law Courts on
Friday 6 July 2007 in the case brought to grant Milecastle Housing
Association an order to evict the 68 year-old grandmother -cannabis Gran.
The Judge Told Ms Tabrum [not verbatim] You cannot grow or supply
cannabis from your home - But if you use it is not a matter for the
court in this case. But this did not mean the court was saying it was OK
for her to use cannabis.

Mrs Tabrum, 68, of Humshaugh, Northumberland, has been convicted twice
for cultivation of cannabis in her home where she is a tenant of
Milecastle Housing Association is to appeared at Newcastle County Law
Courts on Friday July 6 2007.
She claims to use just 0.1 grams a day about 50 pence worth on the
illegal market - but she doesn't smoke it. Instead she adds it to her
food as she finds benefit and relief from her ailments.
